Katie Price and Peter Andre have been locked in bitter feuds since they end of their marriage but they've planned a secret meeting to rebuild their friendship.
Katie, 32, wants to be pals and her ‘be nice to Pete' plan may already be starting to pay off.
When he dropped off their kids Junior, five, and Princess, three, after a family trip to Australia three weeks ago, he seemed pleased to talk to her.
Even though his Peter Andre: The Next Chapter film crew weren't allowed into their meeting, Pete returned to his car looking happier than ever.
‘Peter calls regularly to speak to the kids but Katie sees it as an opportunity to make him realise she isn't the woman who drove him to the edge towards the end of their relationship,' adds an insider.
‘She'll keep him on the phone for ages, talking about his career and what the kids have been up to.'
Despite repeatedly protesting that her marriage to Alex Reid is stronger than ever, it's clear that when Katie sat down to pen the dedication page of her latest autobiography, Alex wasn't on her mind - it was Peter.
Thanking him for turning her into an, ahem, butterfly is the clearest sign yet that she's still pining for him.
After their split, Peter lost nearly 3st and friends feared for his health. It seems he too has found it hard to move on.
In a recent interview, he revealed he still visits the marriage guidance counsellor the couple saw as they struggled to save their marriage.
His latest single Mercy On Me is a tribute to his ex, leading many to believe they're still not over each other.
All this might explain why Jordan was adamant that Alex couldn't join this year's line-up of I'm A Celebrity - Get Me Out Of Here!.
‘Katie told him he wouldn't be able to cope with the rations,' says our source, ‘but it's really because she sees that show as a memory of her and Peter - and having Alex appear on it may taint it.'

The fallen star is being forced to attend private events to earn cash

When a star such as Lindsay Lohan, 24, is forced to offer her services for birthday parties and Bar Mitzvah bashes, you know there's little hope of her regaining her former glory.
‘The idea of working at private parties for big cash has definitely come up recently,' an insider tells Now.
‘Lindsay keeps trying to resist but she's in a position where she needs to be doing this. Her people have been tempting her with figures of £31,000 for 30 minutes' work but she's said that if she has to speak or mingle with the crowd, she'll charge more.
'She may sing or present something - her people are considering anything to be honest.'
Lindsay's life has been one car crash after another. Let's not forget that she was sent to prison in July for failing to attend alcohol education classes after violating her probation on two 2007 drink-driving and cocaine possession charges.
Then, after failing a drug test, she was sent back to prison briefly in September and now she can't afford the fees at the Betty Ford rehab clinic she's staying at.
We're exhausted just writing about it!
‘Celebrities sometimes appear at private events but this will be Lindsay's main source of income,' an insider adds.
‘She's scared her reputation will be ruined - she has visions of standing next to a clown singing to primary school kids.
'But at the same time, she knows that to pay her rehab fees, which could cost over £32,000 until January, she has to swallow her pride.'

Google Gets Generous With Employees!

Way to go, Google! This is an impressive move!
As a holiday bonus, Google's CEO Eric Schmidt has decided that the company will give all of its employees $1,000 cash (tax free) AND they'll be increasing salaries across the board by at least 10% starting January 1st!
As if that weren't enough, the company will also gives employees further raises equivalent to 1X each employee's target bonus for the year AND they'll be eligible for "merit increases" based on their performances.
Smart move, Google! World domination Company success will be MUCH easier to attain when employee morale is high.

Taylor swift honors deceased friend....

Poor thing. This night must have been so tough for her.
Taylor Swift was the recipient of the a variety of awards - most notably her first country songwriter of the year award - at the BMI's last night, but during one of her acceptance speech, she revealed that the accolades were overshadowed by the recent death of close friend, Jeff Lang, who was found dead in his apartment earlier in the week - and she had just attended his funeral.
She said:

"It's been a really emotional week for me… He was 21, and I used to play my songs for him first. So I would like to thank Jeff Lang."

How tragic! We give her credit for even honoring her commitment to be at the ceremony after having to endure that!
It was very thoughtful of her to dedicate the night to him, though.
We're sure that wherever your friend is now, he's so proud of you, bb.
Our thoughts are with all of Jeff's family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Lara Spencer Denies Nancy O'Dell Feud!

The denial has arrived!
Despite reports that Lara Spencer is FURIOUS that Nancy O'Dell is replacing Mary Hart on Entertainment Tonight, and not her, The Insider host is putting on her faux smile and asserting that it's all just lies!
She explains:

"That couldn't be further from the truth. There's no feud. I have a great job. I host a show that I love and that I helped launch. O'Dell is a really great choice. I've known her for years and she's going to be a great addition to the team. There's nothing but love – and I mean that. I understand the speculation, but I am right where I want to be. I have been very much in the loop and on board and really happy right where I am."

Sounds like she's trying to convince herself, just as much as the rest of us, that she means what she says!

Lady Gaga has taken out a restraining order against a female fan.
The singer, real name Stefani Germanotta, launched legal action after her management allegedly received a disturbing letter from the woman.
The fan has now been ordered to stay at least 500 yards away from Lady Gaga, 24.
'Security is always tight around her but even more so now she's on tour,' a source tells The Sun.
'Her team won't take any chances.'
